Lake Barkley is a 134 miles long, 57,900 acres lake that runs parallel to Kentucky lake. Both lakes are connected by a canal that sits at the north of the two lakes. Unlike Kentucky Lake, Barkley was created by damming up the Cumberland River therefore the lake tends to have less water clarity. All major species of fish reside in the lake and is and extremely popular destination for fisherman. Plenty of guides with years of knowledge can put you on your favorite game fish, the cabins surrounding the lake offer beautiful views and the people couldn’t be friendlier!
